Hi!I am such a nerd. When I want to begin something new or try to bring a new perspective to an existing project I walk into Staples and pick up a few notepads and pens to movitvate me. It’s the exciting feeling of having a fresh canvas to sketch out my thoughts and ideas for a project.
It’s almost the same feeling as getting a new gadget that you can use to create something with. New laptop, new phone (iPhone), new display, new printer, keyboard, mouse… Whatever it is I usually go into it thinking of the possibility of being able to create something to justify it’s purchase.
The best is when you spend $3 on a slick plastic covered notebook, a nice uni-ball pen and get to work. Right now I’ve got a bunch of ideas floating around in my head on how to make Cupid’s Lab a simpler and better application. I’ve already jotted down some tasks, ideas, and am pretty motivated.
